I’m a creative social media video producer & consultant. The brands and projects I’ve worked on have reached over 2.5 billion video views and have acquired over 20 million+ subscribed fans in the process: these views have primarily come from YouTube, Facebook, and Instagram.

Many of these projects have made a splash on CNNDailyMailGawkerTMZRyan Seacrest, and more…

Facebook Growth

I create creative content strategies to grow Facebook Pages for online influencers. I see my client’s Facebook pages grow, on an average, to more than 120% in the first 30 days. This is accomplished by using a media strategy of consistent engagement. I’ve grown and continue to manage pages like, OwnagePranks, KarenXVitalyzDTV, Kristen Hanby, and Julius Dean.

Here is a snapshot of a typical week:

In addition, I currently taught a live class and wrote a book about how to grow Facebook pages. If you’re interested to learn more, you visit gauranoresume.com

A Few Viral Video(s)

On Dec 7th, 2016 I published a video where riders in an Uber car sing to Mariah Carey’s “I Want For Christmas Is You.” It hit the airwaves across hundreds of news sites across the country. This includes, but not limited to, KTLA, Fox News, MSNBC, CNN, many radio stations, NYC ABC, and the list goes on! I was even featured on a morning news show:

In October of 2016 I made a video where I surprised Uber riders with Puppies. It was seen on Mashable (10.4 million views), Inside Edition, CBS, and ABC…

Chainsmoker’s Music Video

I wa alsos fortunate enough to be asked to make a fun music video for “The Chainsmokers.” It currently stands over 2 million views across their Facebook page & 2.2 million+ views on their YouTube channel.

A Few Notable Publications Because of The Video:

The Weeknd – Can’t Feel My Face (Carpool Edition)

On August 18th, 2015 I published a video where people danced in an uber to the song “Can’t Feel My Face” by The Weeknd. It reached 900k views on YouTube, 10 million views across different Facebook Profiles, hit the #1 spot on reddit and did well across different news sites.

I used the popularity of the song, Uber’s brand name, and the genuine actions of my passengers to push the video forward. I did it out of pure fun and no one endorsed me to make the song. It hit 900k+ views on YouTube before being taken down for copyright. But, it was taken and uploaded on different FB pages, which accrued more than 20 million FB views.

This exposure gained the attention of The Weeknd, who saw the video, and then invited me to see him in Toronto. You can watch the story here:

SimpleMisfits (Jan 2014 – April 2014)

Teamed with Jason Roberts & SimplePickup to start SimpleMisfts: a channel dedicated to social experiments. Here is a notable video that has generated over 6 million views and was featured on CNN:

PlayTable.XYZ: the world’s first board game console

From August of 2015 to January 2017 – I moved from Los Angeles, California to the Bay Area to work part-time on PlayTable.XYZ – I’m a board & card game enthusiast and so, with a group of friends, we started building a device that can play every single board & card game in the world. It was once a hobby, which turned into a reality. I was brought on for user acquisition, social media growth & video work. I advised them on their marketing strategy.

YouTube Manager (Jan 2012 – March 2014)

Screen Shot 2014-04-19 at 5.49.33 PM

I was the manager for the YouTube channels, Simple Pickup & Simple Misfits: 2011 – 2014. I had a lot of fun helping to grow Simple Pickup from where it was 1.6 million subscribers. This also goes with their video views (30 million to 180 million views).

This was a great opportunity where I was able to work with an array of different YouTube influencers, authors (like Tim Ferriss), and so much more. I’m really fortunate to have had this time to grow my skills.

A Little Reflection Regarding Simple Pickup: three things I’ll miss doing:

i. Growing their Social Media Presence

When I first started their Facebook profile was about 18,000-20,000 fans with an engagement rate of less than 3%. Through a lot of studying and getting things together… I was able to grow their facebook fanbase was 240,000 organic fans with a 150% engagement rate (a year and a half).

ii. Collaborating With Other YouTubers

It was a wonderful pleasure bridging other creatives with their brand. This stems from PrankvsPrank, VitalyzdTv, LAHWF, and Fouseytube… It doesn’t stop there! The ability to meet The Chive, Tim Ferriss, Ryan Holiday, Playboy Radio and other notable creatives really put a smile on my face. There’s nothing better than successfully persuading a creative to collaborate with you!

It’s a thrill I will always miss!

iii. Writing for them

I did many things under their name, but most of all…

I’ll miss writing their advice blog articles: I ghostwrote about 40 viral girl advice articles that help their readers achieve their goals.

My Proudest Moment Working for them.

We did an awesome video where we motorboated women for breast cancer awareness. The money was ultimately returned and the video was taken down (for privacy issues).

Anyway, we took the donation we made from the motorboat video and I was told to look for a woman with breast cancer (donate the money). It was a whirlwind of an experience. I want to talk about it more, however, it’s very emotional… just know I will always keep her in my memory.

To this day – this video makes my heart melt. She was interviewed about the video and she is very appreciative and even mentions my name.

Other Notable Projects:

(updated on 06/2018)

1. In September of 2014 was recruited by a YouTuber named Kipkay to develop a subscription platform product called, Kipkaykits. I was recruited to manage its e-mail marketing campaigns (content marketing). We made $200,000 in our first year.

2. In November of 2012, by partnering with UC Berkeley, we were able to throw our first concert with Lindsey Stirling as our headliner.

3. From February 2016 – January 2018, I was brought in as an advising consulting for Shareability, which is an online content media company: our ideas generated over 1 billion organic views.

4. In January of 2017 – June 2017, I was vetted to teach a class about how to go viral on Facebook. I had a class size of 15 students who I taught weekly in San Francisco.

5. From March 2017 – June 2018 I worked for a CPG company called hint. I was head of their video and influencer partnerships department.
